North Bridge Closed
12th - 13th Oct 2026
North Bridge in Edinburgh will be closed tonight from 10pm until 6am.
The Last X62 Service departing Edinburgh bus station at 22:10 for Galashiels will Divert Via Queens street onto Hanover street over the Mound and come down Chambers street For Normal Route.
Chambers street will be served.
South Bridge will not be served.

York Place, Edinburgh - Road Works
11th - 16th Oct 2026
Due to roadworks on Elderstreet, there is no left turn from York Place into Edinburgh Bus Station.
During these road works, our services will take the following diversion
Left at the bottom of North bridge onto Princes street then right onto north St Davids street then right onto Queen street for Edinburgh bus station.
Please note that during this diversion, the bus stop outside St James Quarter will not be served.

Roadworks Innerleithen. - Stops not in use.
6th Oct 2026 onwards
Roadworks Innerleithen.
We have been informed that there will be essential SGN works being carried out on Horsbrugh Street, Innerleithen between Monday 19th October until Friday 11th December 2026 that will affect services X62 and school service P06.
Although road closure is on Horsbrugh Street, the bus stops on Pirn Road will be closed when traffic control is in operation at the junction with the A72.
Customers will be required to board and alight on the Main High Street stops during this time.
In relation to the P06 service to/from Peebles High School, all pupils be required to board and alight on the High Street that normally boarded on Buccleuch Street, Innerleithen during these works.

Lowther Street, Carlisle Bus Stand Closures.
25th Aug 2026 onwards
Lowther Street, Carlisle Bus Stand Closures.
We have been advised that the bus stands on Lowther Street, Carlisle will be closed from Tuesday 1st of September 2026 to allow essential street refurbishment works to be carried out.
As a result, Service X95 will temporarily relocate from Stand K (Club Britannia) to Stand J (Howards Arms), located further north along Lowther Street.
The local authority anticipates that these works will remain in place until January 2027.

Service 51 disruption/diversion Edgehead and Whitehill
12th - 17th Oct 2026
We have been informed that major resurfacing works will be carried out on Monday 12th October until Friday 16th October at Edgehead that will result in the C34 Whitehill road being closed between 0900 and 1630.
This will result in service 51 operating normal route before and after the closure.
During the closure, service 51 will operate from Ford right onto the B6372 to rejoin the A68 then left onto the A6106 for Dalkeith omitting Edgehead and Whitehill villages between 0900-1630.

Lauder High Street major evening resurfacing works
12th - 30th Oct 2026
We have been informed that major evening resurfacing works within Lauder town centre will be carried out that will result in service 51 terminating and departing from Thirlestane Drive as follows.
Monday 12th – Friday 30th October excluding weekends , departures from Galashiels at 1846 and 2046 to Lauder will terminate at Thirlestane Drive and the departure from Lauder to Galashiels at 1934 and 2134 will depart from Thirlestane Drive.
All other journeys not mentioned will operate normal route with minor delays.

Service 51 – Lauder High Street Evening Resurfacing Works.
Due to major evening resurfacing works in Lauder town centre, some evening Service 51 journeys will temporarily terminate and depart from Thirlestane Drive.
Affected dates: Monday 12 October to Friday 30 October (excluding weekends)
Journeys affected:
Galashiels to Lauder:
18:46 departure will terminate at Thirlestane Drive
20:46 departure will terminate at Thirlestane Drive
Lauder to Galashiels:
19:34 departure will operate from Thirlestane Drive
21:34 departure will operate from Thirlestane Drive
All other Service 51 journeys will operate their normal route, although minor delays may be experienced while the works are in progress.

We would like to inform our customers that we have been informed that Galafoot Bridge will be closed eastbound to allow major deck refurbishment works to take place. The closure will begin at 06:00 on Monday 5 October and will remain in place until the works are completed.
Services 67 and 68: From Kingsknowe Roundabout, services will operate via the A7 and B6360 Abbotsford to Tweedbank Roundabout, where they will rejoin their normal route.
Service 314: From Galashiels Fire Station, this service will operate via Tweed Road, Winston Road, B6374 Lowood Bridge and Tweedbank Bypass, rejoining its normal route at Tweedbank Roundabout.
Minor timetable adjustments will be made to allow for the additional journey time between Kingsknowe and Tweedbank.
Services operating from Tweedbank towards Galashiels are not affected by this closure. -

We have been informed that there will be additional evening full bridge closures that will affect evening journeys on services 67 and 68.
The following dates for evening services will result in services 67 and 68 diverting from Tweedbank Roundabout via Tweedbank bypass A6091, Lowood Bridge and Langlee omitting normal bus stops between Kingsknowe roundabout and Galashiels Interchange.

Jedburgh Running Festival 2026.
We have been informed that there will be minor disruption in the Jedburgh area on Sunday 25th October 2026 for the above event.
Although road closures will only come into effect at such times between 0930-1500 when the event is in the town centre area, we will be operate a normal service 68.
